Jaclyn Dawn Lawrence – writing as Jaclyn Dawn - grew up in a tabloid-free small town in Alberta, Canada. She graduated with distinction from the online MA Creative Writing programme at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2015. During her time at Manchester Met, she wrote her debut novel The Inquirer in which a mysterious tabloid is airing small town Kingsley's dirty laundry forcing Amiah Williams to face her past or watch her life fall apart again. Jaclyn also has a communications degree from MacEwan University and works as a freelance writer and instructor. She now lives somewhere between city and country outside Edmonton with her husband and son.
